The beauty of Okazaki' s tinted autumn leaves
Okazaki is full of great viewing spots for autumn leaves. Okazaki Park in particular is dyed a beautiful reddish colour of maple trees, that when lit up at night on the water' s surface and masonry of the castle moat show off the beauty of the season. Higashi Park is also a must visit at night, accessible in a short 10 minute drive, with its harmonic beauty of coloured leaves and light like no other.
- 12:00 Okazaki Castle
- After enjoying the coloured leaves of Okazaki Park, continue on to Okazaki Castle, where you can learn about the birth and history of the well-known shogun, Tokugawa Ieyasu.
- 13:00 Mikawa warrior's museum of Iyeyasu
- Photograph the experience of dressing up in samurai armour.

- 14:00 Daijyuji Temple
- The temple of Ieyasu Yukari. Known as a vista line located approximately 3 km in a straight line from Okazaki Castle, this temple has been protected for more than 370 years. It appears as almost a perfect picture frame of Okazaki Castle.

- 15:00 Jounantei Tea Room
- Enjoy Japanese style green tea and traditional sweets while admiring the stunning view of autumn in the Japanese garden.

- 16:00 Higashi (East) Park
- Higashi Park is a park combining both nature and culture. Enjoy a stroll through the park while viewing the beautiful autumn leaves. There is also a zoo.

- 17:00 Okazaki Park (tinted autumn leaves)
- The maple trees are lit up at night, showing off a beautiful autumn scene whereby the tinted leaves can be seen on the castle moat' s surface and masonry.
